Are you caring for someone that needs frequent reminders and doesn’t have a smartphone? Do you find that you are busy with work and family just at the times that you need to remind a loved one to take medication or attend an appointment? Using this app you record reminders in advance, the message is delivered as a PHONE CALL with YOUR VOICE to their HOME PHONE. Notifications back to your iPhone let you know if they listened to your message. For carers of people with Dementia, Alzheimers, Parkinson’s and other conditions to remind their loved ones of important recurring or one-off events by a voice message to their home phone.

Nudgu Reminders helps you to balance the care to your loved one with your other everyday commitments. You record brief messages in advance, such as a medication reminder or just a simple hello. Then Nudgu will phone your loved one, playing your message at just the right time – even if you’re not available or your smartphone is switched off.

As dementia carers we developed Nudgu to help our mum, who was becoming more forgetful to continue to live independently. Mum has dementia, but needs to take medication at set times for diabetes. We are a regular family with jobs and children. We simply cannot be there for Mum as much as we would like. That’s why we developed the Nudgu (Nudge You) Reminder service. Here are some reasons why this service has made such a difference to us:

IF MY PHONE ISN’T ON OR IS OUT OF RANGE WILL MY MESSAGE STILL BE DELIVERED?
Yes. Once you have successfully created a reminder, our servers will look after the rest, delivering the message at your chosen date and time. Even if you are out of charge or out of range. Delivery confirmation will be updated once you reconnect to the data network.

DO NUDGU MESSAGES USE MY MOBILE CALL CREDITS?
No - Messages are recorded on your phone and transferred to our servers via the data network either; via WiFi or your mobile data service. Message size is quite small (typically less than a photo or music track). The cost of delivering your reminders to the destination telephone is included in your monthly subscription. Note: When creating a reminder while using the mobile data network, this will use some of your data allowance.

HOW MUCH DOES THE SERVICE COST?
After the free 30 days you have the choice of an in-app purchase of £9.99 / $11.99 for each additional 30 days of service.

WHICH COUNTRIES CAN I SEND MESSAGES TO?
US landline numbers and UK landline and mobile numbers. More countries will be added soon - if you have a specific requirement, please drop us a line via our contact page - wed love to hear from you!

IS THERE A LIMIT ON THE NUMBER OF REMINDERS I CAN LEAVE?
100 per month, a plan for more messages will be available if there is demand.
